"Goat is a new street food concept by chef James Cochran, famed for winning Great British Menu 2018"
We always knew we wanted to tap into the street food market, mainly with James' famous jerk chicken but we wanted to do something different. Having used Goat in his main dish on Great British Menu, we introduced it at our restaurant 12:51 and it went down a storm, so thought, why not put it onto a flatbread. Alongside Goat we do a vegetarian option of jerk spiced cauliflower. We started off in Model Market in Lewisham and we will be opening up in Boxpark Croydon this Summer.
where are we?
We are excited to announce we have recently joined Boxpark Croydon, come find us in the main dining hall.

We have been working with Cabrito for a while now since James first used Goat meat for his Great British Menu main dish.
Cabrito’s mission is to put all billy goats born in to the dairy industry into the meat industry. Ex-chef James Whetlor knew he could something about the plight of the male billy goats, who are historically euthanised at birth in the dairy industry.
Calling on his 10 years of chef experience and contacts in London James began working with goat dairies to supply restaurants. James is International Director of Goatober working with partners in America, Europe and Australia and is consultant for the European ‘Food Heroes’ project, which aims to end food waste in farming across the EU.
James’ first book GOAT: Cooking and Eating (Quadrille Books) has been widely acclaimed as genre-defining and won a James Beard Foundation Award 2019 for best single subject book.
